Today was day 4 of Catholic Schools Week. For Mass, we dressed up in our nicest clothes. The kids looked wonderful! We took time out of our day to thank those that help make our Catholic education possible. There are so many people that make this possible. Enjoy some great looking kids!

Crazy Sock Day
For day 3 of Catholic Schools Week, we have rolled up our pants and worn crazy socks. We are collecting socks for Beggars for the Poor. Students have really come through and their socks look awesome! The kids have had a great time with everything this week!
Crazy Hair Day
The second day of Catholic Schools Week was Crazy Hair Day. The kids had some really fun hair. I had to take pictures from the front and back of each group because some hair was so crazy in the back, but you could barely see it from the front. Enjoy!

Catholic Schools Week
Today was the first day of Catholic Schools Week. Our theme this year is "Raising the Standards: Finding the Path to Our Lord." Each day, we will focus on a different way to find our path. Today, the focus was taking care of ourselves. The students got to come to school in their exercise clothes. Throughout the day, we took a break from our work and did some exercising. The kids thought it was the coolest thing. They had such a good time. Here are some pictures of the kids working out throughout the day.

100's Day
Today was the 100th day of school and we celebrated in a big way. The kids were able to come to school in different shirts that had 100 things on it. There were some very creative ones this year. We graphed about how we are 100 days smarter. We also put together some 100 piece puzzles and made a snack mix. Here are some pictures from throughout the day.
Here are the kids with their shirts with 100 things.
The kids counted ten of each of the items of the mix . We put it all together to enjoy.
The kids worked very hard on the puzzles. 100 pieces is not easy.
The two puzzles that were completed!

Ella's Birthday
Today, we celebrated Ella's birthday a couple days early. She brought in The Berenstain Bears' Sleepover. The kids loved it! There was one part in the book where Brother Bear, Sister Bear, and their friends are putting on Mama Bear's lipstick and Papa Bear's shaving cream. The kids thought that was the funniest thing! They all burst out laughing. I couldn't help but laugh right along with them. It was a great book to share and add to our collection.

Birthday Books
It has been awhile since we have had some birthday books. Yesterday, we celebrated two birthdays that happened over Christmas Break. The first one was Anna. She brought in Shoe-La-La by Karen Beaumont. The girls especially loved that one. It rhymed, so the kids love that even more. Then, we celebrated Ellie's birthday with her book. She brought The Puppy Place (Where Every Puppy Finds a Home): Cocoa. That is a chapter book, so we will read a little bit at the end of each day. The kids always enjoy hearing chapter books read out loud.
