Today, we had an awesome day. Today was the day of our new school-wide anti-bullying and positive behavior program. We kicked everything off at church. Mr. Shelburn announced the winners of the poster contest and our very own Taylor won for the Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade group. Mr. Shelburn had made video of all of the kids with their "Stand Up to Bullying" posters. The video is truly awesome. I could not help but smile the whole time. We had kids cheering and chanting during church. We encourage kids to "Stand Up and Stop It" when it comes to bullying. In the afternoon we saw a program called "Choosy Suzy" about good character traits to have and how to be a buddy, not a bully. The kids had a great day today.
